Reception
At last a bit of a makeover for our reception area. First impressions count (ask our MD Neil Macadam with possibly the longest, shiniest, most in-your-face shoes in the business) and whilst we're more than capable of backing up our promises, somehow it's rather nice to have a literal reassuring presence in the shape of our offices.

We're not located in one of the trendiest parts of Brighton, instead we have a great view facing the sea situated about four miles to the east of the jewel of the South Coast. Peacehaven is not known for its fabulous Regency architecture but it was once the home of one-time superstar Gracie Fields and also of Felix Powell, the man who wrote the song that was on everyone's lips Pack up your troubles in your old kit bag. It's also the first town toİ have been marketed in the 1920's along with a competition to name it. The entrepreneur/developer who launched Peacehaven was one Charles Neville. Heİ purchased a long strip of fine Downland next to the sea, placed a grid over it and a far from sophisticated street layout was born. The plots were sold for a few hundred pounds each via a series of masterful national press advertisements. He also used the plots as prizes in competitions and built the brand to such an extent that people were catching specially chartered trains to Sussex to be met by a dedicated sales onslaught in this modern day arcadia. Peacehaven prospered, and so did Neville, but the dream eventually floundered. However, things are looking up for Peacehaven ... why we even have a brand new branch of Subway!

All this is a long way from our reception area, but the building we're in was built by Neville's crew in around 1921 and commands a stunning view of the English Channel. Andİof course, the zerofiftyone part ... our offices lie on the prime Greenwich Meridian - zero degrees - and the latitude is fifty one degrees - the same as Halifax Nova Scotia. Not many people know that.
New Business wins
Jefferies Farm PECL
jefferies Farm Image PECL Image
Jefferies Farm Car Supermarkets is a family run business that has been established for over 30 years, and is the South's busiest car supermarket retailer on and off the internet.

zerofiftyone's brief was to look at radio as a medium to get good awareness and some powerful sales messages across the county. Planning and buying airtime on Heart (Sussex) coupled with arranging their key Drivetime sponsorship package has resulted in Jefferies Farm Unbeatable Car gaining excellent recognition and messaging across Sussex.
PECL is a global engineering construction contractor and power equipment supplier.

zerofiftyone have taken on the brief to brand this new business, and at this stage are in the process of designing and building their website.
Allfield Financial Havering

The Allfield Financial Group is one of the largest directly-registered financial services groups in the Sussex area. The company was established in 1982 to provide independent financial advice, on a general practitioner basis, in all areas of financial planning.

Tasked with re-designing their website, zerofiftyone have come up with a fresh and contemporary look that hopefully sets them apart in a traditionally "corporate-styled" market place.

This new brand look will be run out through all of Allfield's communication collateral.
Our local authority portfolio is growing. After a three way pitch, we were lucky enough to be appointed by the London Borough of Havering. The campaign is entitled 'Fear of Crime' and will run from July to October 2009.

The campaign will focus on reducing the fear of crime amongst residents in the London borough. Havering Borough Council and Havering Police, part of the Metropolitan Police Force, are heading up the project.

Neil Macadam said: "We're delighted to be working with Havering Borough on this exciting project and we are looking forward to creating an inspirational campaign that meets our client's targets."
New Business - Sussex County Cricket Club
We were commissioned to produce a piece of creative that would sit across 48 sheets, double crowns, website banners and programme ads to promote the forthcoming game between the touring Australians and Sussex.

Having won the Young Driver's Road Safety pitch last year, our brief for 2009-2010 was to come up with an overall umbrella campaign that would appeal to the target market in a different way without "preaching" to them.

The subsequent Scalextric designs have now led to not only visual static communications for buses, washroom poster sites, retail changing rooms and beer mats, but have also led us to make a cinema and viral ad for You Tube.

Congratulations to Leumi
Leumi ABL has affirmed its role as one of the most respected UK asset based lenders by winning the title of 'Asset Based Lender of the Year - UK' in ACQ Finance magazine's Country Awards for Achievement 2009.

The accolade is the result of a totally independent poll amongst industry peers and acknowledges the success story of a relatively new brand to the ABL market. Part of Bank Leumi (UK) plc, Leumi ABL's flexible and highly personal approach together with its full ABL product capability including stock and trade finance, have created a winning combination since the business launched in 2006.

Clay Pigeon Shoot Clay Pigeon Shoot sub A wonderful day in the country was enjoyed by clients of zerofiftyone when we enrolled in a day of Clay Pigeon Shooting.

Our client Apsley Sporting, based at Cowdray Park in Midhurst was an excellent host for a group of 12 of us. We were taught in 2 groups how to shoot the clays and finished with a fierce competition - boys against girls. We'll let you decide, which team you think won!

Day at the Races sub The directors and staff all thoroughly enjoyed a day at the races at Brighton Racecourse. Any excuse for hats and high heels!
