zerofiftyone tastes it's own medicine
Shock, horror, we've done it - it's so often the case of the cobblers shoes always being the ones in need of repair.
Never more so than in an agency busy producing great work for clients, but we finally bit the bullet and the
zerofiftyone identity is now firmly in place. There's a highly polished new brochure available too - if you'd
like one just contact David Smith.
zerofiftyone joins The Blogosphere
We now have our own blog
which will be regularly updated with zerofiftyone news and events.
Look out for our animated Xmas card
Shortly, there'll be one of the above winging its way through the ether to a PC or Mac near you. With cartoons and animation
produced in-house by our ever resourceful and creative Martin we hope it will raise a festive titter. Meanwile it's time to
hang up the pen, fill the cheering glass and raise a toast to all our clients and friends - and those who'll become clients
in 2007.

In what is a unique departure for Claus International plc, CEO 'Santa' Claus chose
zerofiftyone to produce
response letters to children in both Colchester and Haywards Heath. In a trial 'pre-outsourcing exercise', children visiting
Lion Walk in Colchester and The Orchards shopping centre in Haywards Heath are encouraged to write a gift request note to Santa.
zerofiftyone sensitively handled both the writing and design of the piece whilst individual centre managers are responsible
for fulfillment. Early results are encouraging and a spokes-elf from Claus HQ reported the big boss to be 'ho-hoing' all
the way to Lapland. The client acting on behalf of Claus International is Friends Provident.

Innovative ladies fashion group BOX2 have appointed
zerofiftyone to give their brochure a thoughtful makeover. BOX2 sells its quality European fashion clothing
in franchised stores throughout Britain and by catalogue. Dealing in sizes 14 to 30 it's BOX2's philosophy to provide
real style for women who don't necessarily meet the regular high street criteria - and they're spectacularly successful!
The catalogue now reflects a wider age group and is styled in a far more contemporary way. Working closely with the client the
agency looks forward to helping BOX2 grow its brand and position to become market leaders in this very individual fashion sector.

Clean Kent educates potential Flytippers The Clean Kent Campaign
was launched in May 2004, to tackle the issues of littering and fly-tipping, as well as graffiti and dog fouling.
The Campaign has seen some great successes this year. This month Clean Kent teamed up with the Environment Agency to educate tradesmen
on their responsibilities as waste carriers. The aim was to try and reduce illegal activities such as flytipping, in exchange the willing
participants were given a free breakfast. The initiative was a great success achieving local radio and newspaper coverage.
Kent County Council reduces Landfill Waste Westgate Road, Faversham is the home of an unusual joint experiment by
Kent County Council and Swale Borough Council. Eight specially selected families all agreed to use cloth nappies instead of disposables
for one month as part of an experiment to try and reduce the amount of waste in landfill sites in the county. In the Borough
of Kent alone over 8 million nappies are thrown away per year! The PR for this campaign brought great results achieving coverage on Meridian TV, radio stations,
newspapers and magazines around the county. |
