What we do

Waste

To reduce the amount of paper we use,

all the paper we put in our printers will be recycled or FSC branded
all of our paper will be reused where possible or recycled
staff are encouraged to not print unneccessarily
all of our business stationery and brochures are printed on recycled paper
where possible, we will use electronic proofing systems (ie. PDF) rather than printing
we will encourage our staff to use scrap paper or send emails in order to reduce the use of Post-It notes
we will include a message in our email signatures and eNewsletters reminding the receiver to not print unless neccessary

Energy

To enable us to reduce our energy consumption,

all computers and printers will be switched off at night with the exception of the server and those required to remain on for back-ups or archiving purposes. Monitors which can be switched off independently, will be
all other electronic devices (including mobile phone chargers etc.) will be switched off when not required
lights will be switched off in vacated rooms
radiators can be individually controlled
our photocopier has been set to automatically switch off
stereos and radios should not be left on stand-by except in cases where access to the plug is limited

To enable us to reduce our waste and minimise our impact on the environment, we will
